Extra-curricular

Extra-Curricular Activities

There is the opportunity for pupils to participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities after school. This will include sports, dance and learning-related activities.

Clubs are usually offered for a half term, bookable in advance and paid for (if applicable) via ParentPay.

Children who qualify for free school meals will be eligible to attend a club of their choice, for a half term, free of charge, subject to there being a place available at the time of requesting.

Educational Visits and Visitors

During the year, educational visits are scheduled as part of the children’s broader curriculum experience of learning away from school. Theatre groups and other inspirational visitors may be invited in to school to further enhance the children’s learning on a particular topic.

In these cases, you may be asked to make a contribution towards the cost. We try to keep the costs as low as possible in the hope that parents will make the contributions necessary to enable the event to take place. No pupil will be treated differently according to whether or not a contribution has been made. However, if insufficient contributions are received, the events may have to be cancelled.
