- World Book Day
As school was closed due to snow on World Book Day, we will be rearranging it.
- Y1 Read & Rave
Year 1 teachers will be holding a ‘phonics workshop’ on Monday 12th March. In order to give working parents the opportunity to attend, there will be two meetings, one at 3:15pm and another at 5:00pm. They will last for approximately 30 minutes.
- Y2 Read & Rave
Year 2 teachers will be holding a ‘SAT’s workshop’ on Monday 12th March. In order to give working parents the opportunity to attend, there will be two meetings, one at 3:15pm and another at 5:00pm. They will last for approximately 30 minutes.
- R&KS1 Mother's Day Service
The service will take place in the school hall on Friday 9th March at 2.00pm. Seating is limited so if you haven't already booked a ticket, please do so by 12noon on Friday 9th March.
- Parent Consultation
Parent Consultation takes place on Tuesday 6th March 3.10pm-7.00pm and Thursday 8th March 3.10pm-5.30pm.
- Reading for Pleasure
As part of a school-wide initiative to promote the joy that can be experienced through reading, Year 1 are currently taking part in a daily 10-minute ‘Reading for Pleasure’ session in addition to their existing reading sessions.

Our fundraising efforts to date have raised the magnificent sum of £12,500.
- Going Home Books
In response to feedback from both children and parents regarding the choice of going home books in Key Stage 2, we have made an exciting and substantial purchase.
- Year 3 Linking Project
On Tuesday 23rd January, Year 3 visited Nell Bank Ilkley, where they were introduced to children from St Matthew's C of E Primary School, Bradford.
